I've been trying to get some sort of ls meeting set up for the past couple of weeks, but that's not happening. Turns out a lot of people have just up and left the shell without saying anything to me or the sack holders that they were going to a different shell.

When I started this shell, I said that I wasn't very interested in doing events anymore, that I just wanted to relax and chill with friends until I finally decided to shoot the pooch and quit. Most of you that followed me from Driven to Endeavor and then to Forevermore put on the pressure and asked for us to still do some events; I gladly caved and said ok. Being a leader, it was my job to make sure that not only the shell runs smoothly, but that we also have fun while doing it. That's not an easy job, especially with a such a motley crew as you guys. However, I wouldn't trade all the fun experiences we've had for anything; all of you have been wonderful, and it was a huge joy for me to be able to adventure with you. Sadly, over the past six months, it grew harder and harder for me to be online when I needed to be, and the shell suffered for it. I've seen our member list slowly grow smaller, one by one, over the past couple months. I'll admit that it I did get a little sad every time I noticed another missing name. Sad, but never disappointed, and I cannot stress that enough. I've always been an advocate of freedom to do what you want with your time in FFXI, and if that means leaving this shell for greener pastures then far be it from me judge you. I simply can't play this game as much as I used to, but I'm still not ready to give up the ghost just yet.

That being said, I don't blame anyone for going to another shell. Hell, I would have encouraged it had I known that people wanted to do move on. However, no one said anything about wanting to move, which leads me to believe that you were either 1) ashamed that you had to leave or 2) afraid that I'd be upset or hurt over it. If #1 is true, that's all on you, but if it's #2, then I'm sorry you felt that way. After all this time of doing things in game together I thought you would have known me better; I'm not some judgmental control-freak douche that demands loyalty from friends and lsmates. I'm not asking for warm gushy goodbyes, but it is nice to know that you appreciated our adventures together as much as I did.

It also would have been nice to know ahead of time that you were leaving, that way myself and the other sackholders could have spared spinning our tires the past couple of weekends trying to get a last sky run done before calling events over for good. Now that I know most of you have moved on anyway, I can officially say that events are over for good. Forevermore will no longer attempt any sort of Sky, Sea, pop nm, etc. Limbus, however, will still run on Mondays and Thursdays.

Those of you still wanting to do Sky and Sea, speak with Neolastat. His shell, "frostedcupcakes", is starting up events. Neo's an okay guy, so I'll vouch for that shell more than I can for any other on Ifrit.

This still leaves the issue of all the pop items that myself and the other leaders have. I haven't decided what to do with them yet. I will either sell them all and split the profits between all the members of the shell that still remain and those that told me that they were leaving. The second option is to see if another shell is willing to use our pops, help us kill, and then let us lot on the loot that our members want. We currently have three full Kirin pops, pops for most sky gods, and pops for all sea jailers except Prudence. Selling them would put a significant amount of gil into the ls bank for one final payout to our members that earned it. It could also be one final shot at some choice pieces of gear that we all want. We also have two Cloud Evokers for the Ouryu Cometh fight, however they are rare/ex and cannot be sold; perhaps we can find a shell that will merc the fight, giving us the loot and leaving them the Monarch Orb. Give me some feedback, these are the shell's pop items and I don't want to make the decision on my own.

These past few years have been great. I've had a blast doing events with every single one of you and wish those of you that still want to do events to have fun and good luck. As for myself, I just don't have the time nor the spirit to play FFXI as much as I used to. I will still be logging on for Einherjar, Limbus, Salvage and Assaults. Forevermore will still be used as a Limbus group and social linkshell.

Well it is sad that sky/sea has ended when many still had loads of points and really wanted some pieces. It has been a hell of an effort from about a year ago when half the ls jumped to titan to follow Nevian. We as a team at a more casual level still was able to continue with sky and get some good drops for more than i thought possible. I think it was a good effort to kill sky gods with fewer people than before in hopes of getting gear for ls members. But the ls was made as a social ls for people to come and hang out, events was a bonus in my opinion. That being said, it was fun doing more with less people cause of the challenge and we did well at it.

Cloud Evokers. Well only ls that I know of that have in the past and possibly still doing it now is Claimtrain. I know they would pay 500K, let the person with cloud evoker lot all drops from Ouryu and they take the key item for Bahamut Version 2.

Sky/Sea items: I really wouldn't mind setting up a time with another ls to have the man power to kill stuff if there is interest in the ls to obtain certain pieces like Byakko's Haidate, Crimson Cuisses, or Jailer Torques. If there isn't much interest in those good pieces I'd say sell/split with ls people. Probably any other ls that would help would want to have a shot at gear is the only downside, very much doubt there is a ls this day that wouldn't want something in return for helping.

Thanks for letting me be a part of your shell. I've really enjoyed getting to know you guys, and I only wish that it could have lasted. I really only come online to do dynamis, or do some campaign battles. Most times when I do pop on to the shell, there would only be a few of us on, and I've even been the only one on some times.....

Anyway, I guess I'll just continue to float along. After 6 years, maybe more I'm not sure, it is a bit of a bummer to be left homeless.
